Job Summary
The Senior Manager manages and monitors store performance by tracking KPIs to ensure targets are met.
The Day-To-Day Activities
- Strategize and implement improvement plans promptly, thinking creatively while managing risks. Provide management with an overview of business performance, reinforcing sales behaviors and action plans.
- Demonstrate sales leadership, set performance targets related to KPIs and business objectives.
- Stay aware of local and global environments impacting sales and business.
- Propose in-store activities to engage staff, celebrate successes, and foster a positive team atmosphere.
- Supervise staff to ensure proper execution of company procedures, ensuring compliance.
- Challenge the team to achieve excellence in results and service.
- Manage overall branch performance KPIs.
- Own the UM store business, including sales, marketing plans, operations, P&L, KPIs, and reporting.
- Review and submit sales and operational reports, inform management of decisions and staff issues.
- Control costs and ensure efficient store operations.
- Maintain all UM branch SOP standards across customer service, internal controls, and back-office activities.
- Develop strategies and programs to improve KPIs.
- Enhance customer experience and operational excellence by driving premium service and stable performance.
- Engage partners via incentive programs, optimize Field Force performance for coverage and competitiveness.
- Create extensive training programs to enhance in-store capabilities.
- Own overall business sales revenue and profit targets, guiding organizational strategy.
- Develop marketing and store incentive plans aligned with product launches and strategies.
- Deliver in-store marketing activities within budget to increase branch conversion rates.
- Lead the team to develop a strong brand and product portfolio, driving demand.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance, CSR, and process excellence.
- Retail Training and Talent Development
- Work with the brand Training Team to execute training plans, promote brand advocacy, and support product and device sales.
- Build and manage sales incentive programs and system enhancements to stay competitive.
- Retail Campaigns & Incentives
- Coordinate with Marketing and Retail Experience teams to deliver a differentiated brand experience.
- Plan and execute visual merchandising activations, uphold brand standards, and enhance engagement.
- Support product launches, campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives across stores.
- Mall Branding & Partnerships
- Develop relationships with mall management for branding opportunities and campaigns to increase traffic.
- Coordinate cross-promotions with mall marketing teams.
- Market Research & Strategy Development
- Conduct regional customer analysis and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Implement localized marketing strategies to increase brand presence.
- Monitor competitors to identify trends and threats, adjusting strategies as needed.
About You
- Degree in Business or related field; 15+ years in Sales/Marketing, with 5+ in senior management, preferably in Telco/FMCG/IT/Mobile.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and people management skills.
- Proven sales and channel management experience.
- Good understanding of marketing and demand generation.
- Independent, motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- High analytical skills, adaptability, urgency, and passion to succeed.
