JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

Provide strategic direction on accounting and financial management matters.

Confer with organization officials and team members to discuss issues, coordinate activities and resolve problems.

Supervise accounting activities in order to ensure smooth daily operations, maximize returns on investments, and to improve productivity.

Review and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of financial statements and management reports in compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.

Plan and evaluate tax liabilities under existing and proposed legislations, ensuring accurate and timely tax submissions.

Oversee the implementation of finance and accounting initiatives.

Review the collection reports to determine the status of collection and the amounts of outstanding balances for cash flow management.

Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget for the business unit.

Enforce accounting policies and develop appropriate monitoring plans.

Develop processes and systems for the efficient capture of revenue from stakeholder groups.

Prepare budget to actual comparisons and variance for the company’s operations and highlight those that vary from projections.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA/MIA qualification preferred.

At least 10 years of experience in accounting or financial management, with proven leadership in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
