  • Execute sustainability framework for PMB sustainability commitment.
  • Assist the Head - Sustainability in comprehensive reviews and analyses.

  • Perform analysis for commercial sustainability viability.

  • Implement social-related sustainability initiatives including Human Rights Risk Assessment.
  • Drive sustainability culture within the organization.
  • Implement advocacy for sustainability culture within the organization and industry.
  • Assist in preparation of Sustainability Reports.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute sustainability framework for PMB sustainability commitment to ensure sustainable financing, business and operations internally and meet our social and environmental obligations, with good governance including performing periodic review.
  • Assist the Head - Sustainability to conduct the comprehensive review exercise and analysis on Sustainability-related policies, procedures, framework, strategies, plans and proposals to ensure they are in line with leading practices.
  • Track and report Sustainability initiatives to meet the requirements of internal and external stakeholders (Government, Regulators Shareholders, Sukukholders, UNGC, CEO Action Network, etc.)
  • Conduct research and baseline on the latest trends, regulations and requirements within the sustainability sphere.
  • Assist the Head - Sustainability to identify relevant sustainability-related requirements to be implemented in PLUS.
  • Perform analysis and studies to assist business functions on Sustainability for incorporation within the organization and for commercial viability.
  • Be a central coordinator with various business function for compilation of data for all sustainability initiatives in PMB for reporting to internal and external.
  • Assist to support any ESG related projects to support PLUS’ aspirations and commitments.
  • Assist to implement, execute, monitor and report social-related sustainability initiatives within the organization especially related to Human Rights Risk Assessment, Green Procurement, Vendor Development Program and Bumiputera Empowerment.
  • Implement and execute initiatives to drive a strong sustainability culture within the organization through communication and awareness with all parties working with PLUS.
  • Implement and execute advocacy initiatives and programs to strengthen sustainability culture within the organization, the industry and the nation.
  • Assist in the preparation of Sustainability Reports and other required reports by the Management, Board and external parties.
  • Identify suitable use of environmentally friendly practices across the organization.
  • Identify relevant awarding bodies for sustainability and prepare submissions for PMB to increase stakeholder awareness.
  • Provide support and advice in relation to corporate governance including the analysis, research, formulation and execution of initiatives that will enable the organization to strengthen stakeholder perception, reputation and safeguard its interest.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Law, Economics, Business Administration or any other related field with an equivalent degree.
  • 3 years + experience in the areas of Management Consulting, Sustainability, Corporate Governance or Finance.
