JOB DESCRIPTION
- Plan and schedule preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities to minimize operational disruptions and maximize asset reliability across all sites.
- Develop and manage multi-year asset strategy plans, including annual and five-year non-growth CAPEX forecasts, especially for critical systems (e.g., HVAC, fuel, refrigeration).
- Maintain accurate records and systems, including CMMS updates, Building Condition Audits (BCA), asset listings, and job plans for all maintenance works.
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance operations, liaising with internal teams and contractors to ensure timely execution, proper resource allocation, and safety compliance.
- Track maintenance KPIs and performance data, analyze trends, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives aligned with operational and financial goals.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, health & safety, and environmental regulations, conducting audits and supporting QSHE initiatives across the portfolio.
- Manage procurement processes for maintenance services and materials, including vendor sourcing, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring via SLAs and KPIs.
- Support budgeting and financial administration, including maintenance cost tracking, invoice verification, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and present management reports on maintenance performance, asset condition, risk areas, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and coordination to the site team, fostering collaboration, ensuring high performance, and managing system tools like Oracle and SAP effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (any discipline) from a university recognised by the Government of Malaysia.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Integrated Facility Management (IFM) or a related field, with demonstrated exposure to maintenance operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and CMMS platforms, with the ability to prepare reports, presentations, and business process improvement plans.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle and SAP systems for maintenance planning, asset tracking, and operational reporting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
