Position Overview

The Senior Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring reliable and efficient operation of plant machinery (Line 1, Line 2, Line 3). This includes performing maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, designing maintenance strategies, overseeing programs, and supporting continuous improvement to meet production needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Scheduled Maintenance: Planning and executing routine checks and inspections to prevent failures.
2. Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing malfunctions and performing repairs or replacements.
3. Maintenance Program Development: Creating and implementing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance plans.
4. Equipment Inspection: Regularly checking equipment for issues or wear.
5. Strategy Development: Designing strategies to optimize performance and reduce costs.
6. Technical Support: Providing training and support to operators.
7. Emergency Response: Handling breakdowns promptly.
8. Collaboration and Communication: Working with teams and external vendors to minimize downtime.
9. Record Keeping & Documentation: Maintaining accurate maintenance records and updating relevant documents.
10. Budget Management: Developing and controlling maintenance budgets.
11. Quality & GMP Compliance: Ensuring work adheres to quality and GMP standards, including calibration and audits.
12. Team Development: Conducting training and guiding team members to enhance skills.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
• 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in Food & Beverage or Chemical industries.
• Experience with ERP and CMMS systems, preferably SAP.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
