Job description

Responsibilities

• To maintain and oversee the maintenance of facilities, including work tasks such as carpentry, metalworks, plastering, painting, plumbing, M&E, etc.
• To conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to maintain compliance with applicable safety and operational standards.
• To ensure task delivery as project timeline given. Work together with team members.
• To execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and repair costs. Identify and resolve potential problems and hidden faults promptly.
• To assist maintenance plans and equipment maintenance budgets.
• To coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance work.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues to minimize downtime.
• To lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, including task delegation, training, and performance management.
• To complete any other tasks assigned by superiors on time.

Experience / Skill Required

• Essential skill(s): A maintenance with overall skilled, seasoned professional. Strong planning and coordination skills, equipment failure analysis and judgment, and good problem-solving skills.
• Certificate/Diploma/Degree in maintenance or any related field.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in a related field.
• 2 years and above of experience in equipment maintenance and management.
• Honest, calm, positive CAN-DO attitude personality, able to endure hardships, and have a strong sense of responsibility.
• Result-oriented and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in English and Malay is preferred for effective communication with team member.
