Job summary

Halliburton is seeking an experienced Logging-While-Drilling (LWD) field engineer for on-site supervision and leadership. You will manage tool prep, data acquisition, log generation, and QC, delivering services to clients at the wellsite.

The role requires strong communication, data interpretation, and the ability to provide technical guidance during operations, including BHA planning and mud hydraulics discussions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; STEM degree preferred.
• 2+ years field experience in LWD; basic M/LWD training.
• Must pass company tests or meet task guideline requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversees on-site LWD operations, including tool prep, data acquisition, QC, and customer delivery.
• Leads field engineering on most jobs and ensures data accuracy.
• Interfaces with the Directional Driller to ensure BHA compatibility and proper tool face references.
• Provides technical consultation and analyzes survey calculations.
