Sr. TA Sourcing Partner - APAC TA HR COE @ Avery Dennison

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

You will lead the compliance of end-to-end Logistics operations for MY, SG & PHP, managing external warehouses including bonded warehouses.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

1. Coordinate shipping planning from manufacturing locations.
2. Prepare operational schedules and coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery of products meeting specifications.
3. Lead brokerage compliance and customs clearance activities for import shipments.
4. Handle application and renewal of MIDA certifications for raw materials duty exemption.
5. Provide timely updates on C1 and CJ5 applications for SST exemption.
6. Manage external warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
7. Negotiate prices and rates according to company guidelines.
8. Handle SIRIM applications for electronics demo equipment.
9. Ensure customs clearance procedures are followed, especially for bonded shipments.
10. Ensure logistics operations comply with trade regulations.
11. Manage documentation for bonded activities, customs, and deliveries.
12. Monitor KPIs related to warehouses and transporters for continuous improvement.
13. Coordinate with import shipment and transporters for efficient delivery.
14. Oversee inventory control and stock accuracy in storage facilities.
15. Participate or lead process improvement projects.
16. Maintain records and prepare reports.
17. Perform other duties as required by the department.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or related fields
• Minimum 5 years of experience in import-export processes
• Knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and customs requirements
• Experience with web-based ERP systems is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in tender processes, vendor selection, and contract negotiations
