Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced logistics professional to manage import/export shipments, warehousing, and cost control. The role requires a Bachelor's in Logistics with at least 10 years of experience, including 3 years in a managerial capacity, and strong SAP/warehouse management knowledge.

The successful candidate will oversee compliance, optimize shipping costs, and lead store operations to maximize output while minimizing costs. Experience with FIZ and cost analysis is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or equivalent.
• 10 years’ experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in Import/Export shipment from Free Industrial Zone (FIZ).
• Experience in warehousing/Store management.
• SAP System knowledge and warehousing management.
• Cost control and statistical analysis experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• To ensure shipment in/out compliance to legal requirements (Custom, Phamarcy, DOE, Strategic, etc).
• To ensure import/export shipment using selected forwarder with low/reasonable cost with good services.
• To minimize purchase / shipment cost by apply tax exemption and using cheaper freight forwarder.
• To ensure Store operates at the maximum output at a minimum cost through the effective utilization of resources.
• Assure achievement of management and manufacturing objective through the proper selection, development, training and motivation of subordinates.
• Continuously plan to improve work environment, methods, effectiveness & resource utilization and critically review and monitor operating results.
• Production Cost Control with prepare yearly & monthly budget plan, weekly expenses report versus monthly budget plan and cost analysis.
