Job summary

OCBC Bank Infrastructure as a Service team in Cyberjaya seeks an experienced Linux Platform Engineer to design, deploy and manage scalable Red Hat Linux environments. You will partner with technology teams to improve reliability, security and performance.

You will drive SRE practices, participate in 24/7 on-call rotations, implement observability, automation, and disaster recovery, and help modernize cloud-native infrastructure across AWS/Azure.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business Management.
6+ years' experience on Red Hat Linux Platform.
Experience with UNIX server patching, HA clustering, and high-availability.
Strong knowledge of software-defined infrastructure and cloud-native tools.
Experience with IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation) and configuration management.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver a reliable, scalable Red Hat Linux Platform with security and performance in mind.
Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and drive improvements using SRE practices.
Advance toil elimination, observability, monitoring, and error budget compliance.
Assist in deployment designs, testing, and knowledge management.
