About the Role:

New Era Technology is looking for experienced Sr Linux / Middleware Engineer to be deployed at our prestigious client in Malaysia at their KL office.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise applications and middleware platforms running on RHEL, JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka. You will lead post-build deployment, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and automation to ensure high availability, stability, and efficiency of production systems.

Manage and optimize Linux-based applications and middleware on RHEL, JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka.
Lead post-build deployment, configuration, and performance tuning.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, middleware, and database issues in Oracle/MySQL.
Develop and enhance Unix scripts and SQL queries for automation and optimization.
Ensure system security, compliance, and reliability through proactive monitoring.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and DevOps adoption.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

• 6-9 years of experience in Linux/Middleware engineering and post-build support.
• Proficiency in Unix shell scripting, SQL, and troubleshooting JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka.
• Strong experience in performance tuning, automation, and deployment strategies.
• Knowledge of system security, compliance, and high-availability best practices.
• Ability to lead incident resolution, root cause analysis, and capacity planning
• Nationality: Open for Malaysians / PR/ Locally available resources only
• Availability: Candidates who can join max in 30 days.
