Job summary
Uvation seeks a highly experienced Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, operate and troubleshoot large-scale Linux‑based infrastructure powering AI/ML and traditional workloads. You will own bare metal deployment, GPU infrastructure, HPC readiness, and enterprise storage, collaborating with a DevOps team to ensure performance and reliability.
The ideal candidate has hands-on BMaaS experience, strong NVIDIA GPU expertise, Ceph storage proficiency, and deep Linux platform
Qualifications
- Ubuntu required; RedHat and SUSE preferred.
- BMaaS platforms and large-scale infrastructure experience.
- Hardware knowledge: BIOS/UEFI, RAID controllers, iLO/iDRAC, NICs, HBAs.
- Experience with GPU infrastructure for AI/ML workloads and NVIDIA GPU tech.
- Familiarity with Ceph storage architecture and high-performance storage systems.
- Networking mastery for high-performance data centers (100G+).
- Scripting with Bash and Python for automation and ops.
- familiarity with HPC and AI Factory environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, operate and troubleshoot large-scale Linux infrastructure.
- Manage BMaaS platforms and hardware lifecycle from server to rack.
- Deploy and manage GPU clusters for AI/ML workloads.
- Operate high-performance storage and Ceph-based systems.
- Ensure reliability, performance and disaster recovery for enterprise workloads.
