Job summary

Logicalis Asia Pacific is seeking a Senior Legal Executive in Kuala Lumpur to provide legal reviews and strategic advice across APAC. You will draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements and support corporate governance and data protection initiatives.

The role requires cross-jurisdiction experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced, global technology environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law with admission to practice.
• At least 5 years of private practice or in-house experience in corporate/commercial matters across APAC.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal review and advisory support to management on diverse legal and business issues across APAC.
• Negotiate, draft and review master service, vendor, distribution, NDA, teaming, and PO terms; prepare statements of work.
• Assist in compliance reporting to corporate headquarters.
• Support ad-hoc projects including corporate restructurings and M&A activities.
• Review tenders/bids for compliance with corporate policies and requirements.
• Assist with corporate secretarial matters and ISO 27001 / ISO 9001 certifications.
• Manage organizational data protection matters and related compliance.

Join us and help shape the future of technology across APAC.**Key Responsibilities:**· Provide legal review and advice to all levels of management on a wide variety of legal and business issues in Singapore as well as other APAC countries.· Negotiate, draft, review agreements, including master service agreements, vendor agreements, distribution and reselling, conditions of sale, non-disclosure agreement, teaming agreement, customer PO’s terms and conditions, statement of works· Assist in compliance reporting to corporate headquarters.· Assist in all ad-hoc projects comprising corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisition activities.· Legal review of tender/bids and ensure bid inputs comply with corporate policies.· Manage and assist in corporate secretarial matters, ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certification, compliance matters including insurance and business licenses for all entities within Logicalis Group.· Responsible for organizational data protection matters. **Requirements:**· Bachelor’s Degree in law· At least 5 years of private practice and or as in-house counsel, handling corporate/commercial matters and cross jurisdiction experience.· Strong communication and presentation skills and is an effective communicator.· Able to review Chinese contracts and communicate with Chinese customers· Able to review and negotiate Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Indonesia contracts is an added advantage.· Possess a good business sense with the ability to connect business and legal knowledge to provide strategic advice.· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.· Experience in data protection, information security or cybersecurity is a plus.Interested applicants are invited to apply via our careers portal.
