Responsibilities

Learning & Development (L&D)

Working closely with Sr HRM/ L&D Manager/ Regional L&D team to develop and deliver a retail training and coaching plan aligned to business directions;

Using various tools, applications and techniques in identifying learning and development gaps, and using these to recommend and execute the annual training calendar as well as in content development. This include eLearning platforms.

Design and deliver L&D content and programs based on the needs of the organisation, department and at individual level (as relevant)

Develop and deliver effective new hire orientation program;

Collate training feedback and effectiveness and assist in providing training statistics and reports useful for management decisions;

Assist in providing learning initiatives and solutions to internal customers; and

Manage our LMS portal for accuracy of data and full utilisation of the system by employees.

Performance Management (PM)

With Sr HRM/ L&D Manager, oversee the annual performance management cycle, at both manual and SAP (SuccessFactors) platform;

Educate employees of the appraisal system and provide necessary support as needed by both appraisee and reviewer; and

Maintain our PM system in and provide reports as required to support management in building our workforce towards high performance.

Employee Engagement

Propose, plan, organise, and execute employee engagement initiatives such as Loyalty Awards, staff parties, get-togethers, Employee Wellness Month, departmental engagement plans/ activities and ad-hoc activities.

Design and implement annual or quarterly engagement plans aligned with company values and culture goals.

Conduct post-activity surveys to gather feedback, measure engagement effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Propose, plan, organise and carry out CSR initiatives of the Company.

Build and maintain relationship with our local CSR partners and beneficiaries.

Market our CSR programs to employees and encourage participation.

Local champion to coordinate campaigns locally cascaded from COMO Foundation.

Others

Manage budget through accurate updates, control and savings.

Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Sr HR Manager/ L&D Manager.

Work closely within HR team in HR driven initiatives and in maintaining the good reputation of HR.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in HR or relevant field with minimum 3 years of similar experience. Experience in retail operations is a strong added advantage.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal in English. Additional language fluency is an added advantage.

Time sensitive, attention to detail and numerically sharp is paramount.

High in energy, people oriented with skills in building relationship and appreciates collaboration across levels. Good disposition, patient, respectful and passionate of work.

A resourceful team player who is willing to share, proactively engaged in work and able to work under pressured timeline and workload. Expected occasionally stay back to complete work and standing in stores (retail coaching).

Also an independent person in follow-up works, discussions and completion of projects while maintaining collaboration in teams, inside and outside HR.

Good in MS office especially Powerpoint application and latest learning tools/apps.

Experience using AI platforms and Canva for learning content or communication is an added advantage.
