Job summary

Side is looking for a Lead Generalist Programmer to drive technical delivery in game development. The ideal candidate will lead and mentor engineers, contribute hands-on in Unity and Unreal, and establish best practices for code quality.

This senior role requires strong hands-on experience in game architecture, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. Candidates should have a proven track record in game programming, ideally shipping games or major features across PC, console, or mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional game programming experience.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers in a production environment.
• Strong hands-on development experience in both Unity and Unreal Engine.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers across active co-development and game development projects.
• Act as a senior technical partner to production, design, art, and client stakeholders.
• Contribute hands-on to implementation in Unity and Unreal.
