Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Lead Engineer, Digital Design to join our dynamic and growing organization that enables industry leaders to deliver products that leave positive impacts on the world. The Senior Lead Engineer, Digital Design will contribute to the architecture, design, and optimization of innovative solutions for HealthTech, Industrial, Smart Energy, Aerospace, and Capital Equipment. In this role, the Lead Engineer will play a pivotal role along with cross-functional teams of other engineers, customers, supply chain, and project leadership to ensure solutions meet the highest industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of technical solutions in multiple market segments that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to develop world‑class products in highly regulated markets.
- Use familiar EE development processes & workflows to realize products on a PCBA and product/system level.
- Lead and execute product realization from conceptual stages through manufacturing transition with relevant technical competencies.
- Support the development of technical proposals for customers, providing solutions to realize concepts and estimating associated labor and material costs.
- Serve as a recognized subject matter expert for one or more technical areas.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, regulations, and best practices to contribute to the advancement of design practices, procedures, and quality.
- Passionate about solving complex issues and innovating under tight project requirements.
Design for Manufacturing & Quality Assurance
- Ensure products are manufacturable; collaborate with manufacturing partners for seamless production and delivery.
- Identify and evaluate materials, components, and manufacturing processes that align with product requirements and are cost‑effective.
- Proficient in product development life cycle processes and compliance with product quality standards.
Technical Leadership

Project Management (technical leadership context)
- Manage and lead complex engineering projects in‑discipline and cross‑functional levels, understanding technical, financial, and people aspects.
- Create project/change management plans ensuring delivery within time and budget; recognize barriers and develop mitigation plans.

Technical Competencies
- Digital controller design covering MPU/MCU/FPGA/GPU storage and memory device interfaces.
- Familiarity with digital interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, USB, DDR, LVDS, SerDes etc.
- SI & PI simulation and validation.
- Proficiency with schematic & layout design tools (OrCAD, Cadence Concept/Allegro, Altium Designer).
- Good understanding of product EMC, Safety & Environmental compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with HDL and IP design such as VHDL, Verilog, and System Verilog.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent; PhD with minimal industrial experience is welcome.
- Minimum 5–10 years of direct experience in embedded electrical and electronic product design within a multi-disciplinary environment, completing multiple product development cycles.
- Good knowledge of industrial standards and system‑level environmental compliance.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; ability to work in an international team.
- Good teamwork attitude, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Business travel possible, including overseas travel.
Physical Demands
- Performed in a normal office environment.
- Requires extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or detailed data.
- Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, mouse use, calculator use).
- Occasional travel may be required.
Typical Experience
- 5 to 10 years in a similar role or industry.
Typical Education
Bachelor degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
