About the role

In the Graphics and Packaging team, we design and develop customer-facing graphics and packaging solutions for Dyson products to enhance the out-of-box experience. As part of a matrix R&D organization within the Design Engineering function, the team focuses on product color, graphics, literature, and packaging design and development.

Lab Management: Oversee daily operations of the packaging lab, ensuring a clean, organized, and safe environment.

Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and calibration of lab equipment for accurate results.

Packaging Samples: Produce high-quality packaging samples for testing and validation.

Preparation of Test Units: Prepare test units for packaging validation, ensuring they meet specifications.

DPAP Support: Manage and support Dyson Part Approval Process (DPAP), coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet specifications.

Documentation: Keep accurate records of lab and prototyping activities.

Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements in lab management and prototyping.

About you

Minimum 2 years of experience in a packaging lab or related field.

Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with lab equipment and packaging prototyping.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Knowledge of packaging standards (e.g., ISTA, ASTM, ISO) is a plus.
