Job summary

UOB Innovation Hub 2 Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a software engineer to own end-to-end lifecycle for Payments, Real-Time Data Services and Open Banking APIs within the PRO domain. You will drive stability, engage with business analysts, and implement technical solutions for entitlement workflows and data repositories.

As a member of the L3 team, you will deliver code fixes, coordinate with vendors, and advance continuous improvement across methods, tools, and governance while leveraging Java

Qualifications

• Mandatory: RHEL (or equivalent Linux).
• Mandatory: Modern Java microservice stack (Spring Boot, MyBatis).
• Mandatory: Oracle DB.
• Mandatory: Shell scripting.
• Mandatory: TypeScript frontend (React.js, Angular).
• Experience with JBoss is advantageous.
• Experience with job scheduling (Control M) and Apache web server is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Geneos, Splunk, ELK) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end software development lifecycle for PRO domain (Payments, Real‑Time Data; Open Banking APIs).
• Work with business analysts to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
• As part of L3, manage day‑to‑day stability, code fixes and enhancements.
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for fixes, delivery and deployment.
• Support incident, problem, and knowledge management; drive continuous improvement.
