Job Description
- Deliver sales and distribution targets for assigned accounts.
- Manage trade spending to ensure strong ROI and increased team/customer contribution.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence.
- Continuously assess performance and recommend actions to meet targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across all relevant functions and levels within assigned accounts.
- Identify new product listing opportunities and explore potential new accounts.
- Stay informed on market trends and financial conditions affecting the business.
- Negotiate competitive commercial terms, focusing on pricing, service, and profitability.
- Develop strategic account plans aligned with business objectives, identifying areas for mutual growth.
- Conduct regular account meetings to review progress and investments against agreed targets.
- Manage promotional budgets effectively and ensure cost control within approved limits.
- Foster collaboration with marketing, sales planning, logistics, and finance teams.
- Contribute insights to the development of brand and category strategies during reviews and planning sessions.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends, recommending actions to maintain a competitive edge.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5-8 years in a managerial role, with demonstrated experience leading teams.
- Experience in key account management within the pharmaceutical industry, specifically with pharmacy chain sales.
- Proven ability to develop teams in account management and drive business results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
