Job Description
  1. Deliver sales and distribution targets for assigned accounts.
  2. Manage trade spending to ensure strong ROI and increased team/customer contribution.
  3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence.
  4. Continuously assess performance and recommend actions to meet targets.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships across all relevant functions and levels within assigned accounts.
  6. Identify new product listing opportunities and explore potential new accounts.
  7. Stay informed on market trends and financial conditions affecting the business.
  8. Negotiate competitive commercial terms, focusing on pricing, service, and profitability.
  9. Develop strategic account plans aligned with business objectives, identifying areas for mutual growth.
  10. Conduct regular account meetings to review progress and investments against agreed targets.
  11. Manage promotional budgets effectively and ensure cost control within approved limits.
  12. Foster collaboration with marketing, sales planning, logistics, and finance teams.
  13. Contribute insights to the development of brand and category strategies during reviews and planning sessions.
  14. Monitor competitor activities and market trends, recommending actions to maintain a competitive edge.
The Successful Applicant
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related fields.
  2. Minimum of 5-8 years in a managerial role, with demonstrated experience leading teams.
  3. Experience in key account management within the pharmaceutical industry, specifically with pharmacy chain sales.
  4. Proven ability to develop teams in account management and drive business results.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
