Job summary

Luxoft Malaysia, a DXC Technology company, is seeking a Senior Java / Spring Boot Engineer with Android Development Support to design, develop, and maintain backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot, and to build RESTful APIs integrated with frontend, mobile, and cloud applications.

Senior Java / Spring Boot Engineer with Android Development Support

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend, mobile, and cloud-based applications.

Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to backend platform design decisions.

Support integration of backend services with Android-based automotive and mobile applications.

Assist Android development teams with feature implementation, bug fixing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Android developers, QA engineers, architects, DevOps engineers, and product owners.

Ensure software quality through unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards.

Analyze and resolve production issues while maintaining high system reliability and performance.

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation activities.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
