Luxoft in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Java/Spring Boot Engineer to join our Automotive Software Development team. You will design, build, and scale backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot, with opportunities to contribute to Android app development as needed.

The role involves REST APIs, cloud-native work, and collaboration with Android, QA, DevOps, architects, and product owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, SE, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience using Java.
• Strong Spring Boot backend and microservices experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend, mobile, and cloud apps.
• Support Android integration and assist Android development teams.
• Participate in architecture discussions and backend platform design decisions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Ensure quality with unit/integration tests and code reviews; follow coding standards.
