key responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure backend services using Java Spring Boot

• Develop and integrate Kafka-based messaging systems for real-time data processing

• Implement Redis for caching and performance optimization

• Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on cloud platforms

• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

• Participate in system architecture discussions and design reviews

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices

• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application reliability and uptime

• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews

requirements:

• 6+ years of backend development experience using Java

• Strong expertise with Spring Boot, including dependency injection, RESTful APIs, and JPA/Hibernate

• Solid hands-on experience with Kafka (producers, consumers, stream processing)

• Proficiency in implementing Redis for caching and data storage

• Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud

• Strong understanding of system design, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

nice to haves:

• Experience working on payment systems, digital wallets, or financial transaction platforms

• Knowledge of security standards and compliance in financial applications

• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools such as ELK, Prometheus, Grafana

• Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
