Job summary

Xplor Technologies seeks a Backend Engineer to design, develop, and test a Java-based microservices platform hosted on AWS. You will work with a team to maintain high standards of security, quality, and performance.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and reviewing backend services, and collaborating on system architecture to enable scalable, maintainable solutions for diverse customers across APAC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with distributed systems understanding.
• Proficiency in Java (8+) and Spring Boot.
• Strong SQL skills and database understanding.
• Familiarity with SCRUM or modern SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement and test Java-based software modules.
• Maintain a micro-services architecture hosted on AWS.
• Contribute to code reviews and ensure quality, security, and correctness.
• Participate in system design and architecture discussions.
• Drive continuous improvement in product and delivery processes.
