Job summary

HeiTech Padu Berhad is seeking an experienced Software Developer (Java) to join our development team in Cyberjaya. You will design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, security and reliability across complex systems.

The role requires strong Java expertise (Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA), RESTful APIs and microservices, plus experience with relational databases and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Java application development experience.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate/JPA proficiency.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational databases: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into scalable software solutions.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and system integrations.
• Participate in system architecture design, technical reviews, and solution planning.
• Perform code reviews and ensure coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, System Analysts, Tester teams, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and deployment guides.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.
