Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced desktop support for Windows11/10 operating systems, Office 365, Imaging OS, Microsoft autopilot PC deployment. including hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and other systems.
- Provide network support, including basic troubleshooting of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DHCP, DNS, and network cabling.
- Support and manage audio, visual equipment for meetings, conferences, and events (projectors, video conferencing systems, microphones, etc.).
- Collaborate with different global teams like network, security, application on escalated issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot different types of mobile phones, printers, scanners, and other office equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on desktops, laptops, and IT infrastructure.
- Maintain asset inventory and to liaise with local IT vendor to arrange for warranty claims, repairs or IT equipment installation.
- Ensure all incidents and service requests are logged, updated, and closed within SLA timeframes.
- Assist with IT projects, system rollouts, and upgrades as required.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and data protection regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Languages spoken; preferably Mandarin-speaking, Bahasa Malaysia, and English.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.
- Good experience in IT infrastructure setup for new offices and manufacturing site.
- Strong knowledge of Windows environments, basic network troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting audiovisual (AV) systems and equipment.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and incident management processes.
