The Role:

• Align application roadmaps with IT architecture and strategy
• Plan, mobilize, and manage resources effectively to execute plans
• Develop application team skills for growth
• Drive and deliver projects under Group IT Run & Demand Management
• Maintain existing BAU systems within Group IT
• Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure coherent delivery
• Ensure compliance with Group IT and corporate policies
• Work with stakeholders to shape organizational culture aligned with core values
• Promote behavioral expectations within the department/division
• Assess and mitigate business and regulatory risks
• Stay informed on industry trends, threats, and technologies
• Identify risks and share best practices in risk management
• Other responsibilities as needed

The Person:

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 10 years in a leadership role
• At least 10 years in Life Insurance, preferably in Product Development
• Proficient in Java EE/Spring Boot framework development
• Knowledge of Mobile app development (e.g., X-code, Objective-C)
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
• Experience managing new builds, upgrades, and implementations
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, preferably within an integrated program
• Experience managing BAU production systems
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Aligns with organizational core values and demonstrates expected behaviors
• High integrity, accountable, team-oriented attitude
• Proactive and adaptable to change
