In this role, you will oversee projects and systems as a Programme, creating synergy across them to deliver Group IT initiatives and maintain production systems in Product Development (NextGen).

The Role:

  • Ensure application roadmaps align with overall IT architecture and strategy.
  • Plan, mobilize, and manage resources effectively to execute plans.
  • Develop application team skills for growth and capability.
  • Drive and deliver projects and initiatives under Group IT’s Run & Demand Management.
  • Manage and maintain existing BAU systems under Group IT.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure coherent delivery plans.
  • Ensure compliance with Group IT and corporate policies.
  • Work with stakeholders to shape organizational culture aligned with core values.
  • Promote a culture of integrity and behavioral excellence.
  • Assess and mitigate business and regulatory risks.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to safeguard the company.
  • Identify potential risks and share best practices in risk management.
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed.

The Person:

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
  • At least 10 years in Life Insurance, preferably in Product Development.
  • Proficient in Java EE/Spring Boot frameworks.
  • Knowledgeable in Mobile app development (X-code IDE, Objective-C).
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proven track record managing build, upgrade, and implementation projects.
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects, preferably within an integrated program.
  • Experience managing BAU production systems.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Aligned with organizational core values and behaviors.
  • High integrity, accountable, and team-oriented.
  • Proactive and adaptable to change.
