Job summary

Abbott in Malaysia (Imazium, Damansara, Kuala Lumpur) seeks an IT Network Design Engineer (Physical Infrastructure) to lead infrastructure design projects and provide Level III support for hosting and infrastructure platforms across Abbott sites globally.

You will design IT physical infrastructure, oversee on-site installations, and ensure compliance with Abbott, FDA, OSHA standards while coordinating with vendors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years IT infrastructure design experience in multinational environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer IT physical infrastructure solutions (low-voltage cabling, electrical, UPS, HVAC, security).
• Support lifecycle management of IT infrastructure environments (mechanical, electrical, life-safety).
• Oversee on-site infrastructure installations including construction supervision and hardware implementation.
• Serve as SME, providing consulting to stakeholders and end users.
• Produce and maintain engineering documentation, ensure compliance with standards, manage vendors and reporting.
