Job summary

Abbott is seeking an IT Network Design Engineer (Physical Infrastructure) in Malaysia to provide technical leadership in infrastructure design and implementation projects. Responsibilities include developing IT physical infrastructure solutions, overseeing installations, and supporting enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in IT infrastructure design and a bachelor's in a related field. Preferred experience includes exposure to healthcare industries and M&A infrastructure support.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure design within multinational environments.
• 5–7 years of experience designing and supporting enterprise hosting environments globally.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, physical data center environments, and engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer IT physical infrastructure solutions.
• Support implementation and lifecycle management of IT infrastructure environments.
• Oversee and support on-site infrastructure installations.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert.
• Produce and maintain engineering documentation and ensure compliance.
