Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a Senior Manager of Technology Controls Testing to execute testing of key IT controls across the bank’s critical IT systems, based in Malaysia or India. The role supports regulatory compliance and risk reduction while driving control testing excellence.

You will build a sustainable testing framework, collaborate with risk, audit and control partners, and provide timely MI to risk forums while driving remediation and automation opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in IT Audit and/or IT Risk Management.
• Experience in US SOX regime.
• Professional qualifications such as CISA / CRISC will be advantageous.
• Technical knowledge on IT controls across platforms, systems and security tools.
• Good understanding of security processes, risks and controls, audit and testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to facilitate effective IT controls testing.
• Execute a consistent, sustainable technical control testing framework for the bank’s critical IT systems.
• Promote compliance with the Bank’s risk framework and policies (ERMF and O&T RTF).
• Support remediation actions to address identified control weaknesses and issues across critical IT systems.
• Track issue remediation, check delivery status and escalate delays.
• Identify opportunities for automation of controls testing.
• Provide MI to risk forums and governance bodies.
• Work with risk and control partners to ensure robust risk management.
