Job summary

AIA in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced IT Audit professional to provide independent assessments of internal controls and add business-focused recommendations. You will help shape the IT audit program across locations with a strong emphasis on risk management and control effectiveness.

The role requires a university degree in IT/CS, 10 years in IT audit/security, relevant certifications, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• University graduate in IT or Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years IT audit, information security and/or related experience.
• CISSP/CISA/CISM certification with strong IT controls knowledge.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
• Experience in life insurance or financial services is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute IT audit assignments in accordance with internal standards.
• Support building a Group IT audit team with relevant skills and business knowledge.
• Engage with IT management to identify emerging risks and changes for locations and business units.
• Assist in developing annual audit plans and report audit findings.
• Prepare audit reports and action plans in line with requirements.
• Follow up on audit issues and monitor remediation progress.
• Pursue ongoing training and self-improvement.
