Our client — a prestigious firm with over 70 years of global presence across the UK, Europe, and Asia — is expanding its headcount and seeking a Senior IT Audit head to join their team in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

1. Audit Leadership: Manage end-to-end IT audits, ensuring alignment with internal standards and regulatory expectations.

2. Risk Management: Use Data Analytics tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Python) to identify emerging risks and improve controls.

3. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with senior stakeholders, including Directors and C-suite, to deliver insights and improvements.

4. Team Leadership: Guide a team of auditors while collaborating closely with the Audit Director.

5. Strategic Input: Contribute to audit planning and achieve continuous improvement in audit methodologies.

What We’re Looking For

1. 15+ years of IT Audit experience, including at least 8 years experience in large financial institutions.

2. Expertise in IT Governance, Risk, and Third-Party Management.

3. Demonstrable skills in Data Analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Python).

4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

5. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.
