Hitachi Vantara Sdn Bhd is seeking a Semi‑Senior Auditor or Senior Auditor to join its Internal Audit team in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on J-SOX activities, country audits, and process reviews across the organization.

You will prepare test work papers, manage audits from planning to completion, and clearly report findings and risks to stakeholders. Travel may be required; Big 4 background is desirable for senior levels.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of audit experience (internal/external) or accounting firm consulting/advisory experience.
• 5–6+ years of audit experience for Senior Auditor (Big 4 desirable).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, CA (CPA equivalent).
• Moderate to expert level in SOX/J-SOX compliance, internal control, testing.
• Experience performing Walkthroughs and reviewing audit work.
• Ability to independently manage audit projects from planning through execution.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• No passport/visa restrictions to travel.

Responsibilities

• Support audits and consulting engagements including process reviews, data analysis, J-SOX activities, country audits, operational reviews, and system implementation reviews.
• Prepare quality work papers and deliverables to document testing, support conclusions, and communicate findings.
• Independently manage audit projects from planning through completion, coordinating activities and timelines.
• Exercise critical thinking to evaluate business impact and residual risks; identify mitigations.
• Complete allocated J-SOX tasks on time and update audit lead on progress.
• Work on multiple priorities with on-time delivery and proactive status updates.
• Provide support for partner audits and compliance activities.
• Interact with global IA team, business functions, External Audit teams and Finance.
