Job summary

ROCKWOOL International A/S in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, seeks a senior IT security specialist for 2nd/3rd line support and consultancy in specialised areas, owning security solutions through full lifecycle.

You will monitor and resolve IT security incidents, maintain the Defender platform, and collaborate with Digital teams to mature security across the organisation. Travel around 10–15 days per year is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of IT security experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Defender Platform and Defender for Endpoint.
• Familiarity with ISO 27xxx, NIST CSF, CIS 18 or equivalent.
• Ability to investigate IT security incidents
• Experience with SIEM tools (Elastic) is an advantage.
• Skills in Python and/or PowerShell are advantageous.
• Understanding OT/ICS security is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve IT security incidents and identify root causes.
• Maintain and optimize the Microsoft Defender platform.
• Participate in IT security projects and design secure solutions.
• Collaborate with Digital teams to mature security across the organisation.
• Perform security assessments including vulnerability tests and forensics.
