Job summary

IAQ Group is seeking engineers for large-scale EPCC projects in Malaysia. You will lead design, calculations, and ensure timely delivery across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning stages.

Requirements include a degree in Mechanical/HVAC/Mechatronics and at least 5 years of HVAC industry experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office is essential; willingness to travel locally and overseas may be required. This role is based in Penang, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/HVAC/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years working experience in HVAC design/construction.
• Able to operate AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel locally and overseas; may be seconded to project site.
• Independent, highly motivated with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and calculations for designated disciplines.
• Assist in tender planning, scheduling and budgeting.
• Prepare technical reports and proposals.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and deliver per schedule.
• Provide on-site safety supervision support.
• Review technical submissions and QA documentation.
• Manage work packages and change initiatives.
• Support construction teams and commissioning tests.
