Job summary
A leading company in the retail sector seeks a Human Resources Manager responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of HR functions. Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
- At least 8 - 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Managers specializing in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Familiar with Malaysia Employment Act & Industrial Relation Act Knowledge in Brunei, Thailand, India & Indonesia employments Act will be an advantage
- A matured team player, resourceful, self motivated with high integrity
Job Description
- Responsible for full spectrum of human resources functions including manpower planning and recruitment, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits.
- Responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
- Ensures planning, monitoring and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; and counselling employees and supervisors.
- Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
- Manages human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees.
- Sound knowledge payroll and statutory payment, employment act and industrial relations act.
- Review HR policies and procedures / system to ensure it being implemented in accordance to company direction and employment act.
- Guide managers on performance management issues and procedures
- Have Innovative approach to recruitment for retail industry.
- Responsible to analyze, plan, develop, implement and execute policies towards achieving company goals and objectives.
