Our client, a multinational company specializing in advanced automation and smart manufacturing, is seeking a committed HR Manager to join their dynamic team. You will be instrumental in driving the successful setup of the factory and establishing a strong, inclusive workplace culture rooted in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement annual HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and business environment in Malaysia.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for local and foreign workers, including channel selection and talent assessment.
• Establish and execute performance management systems for all levels, including reviews, coaching, and feedback.
• Oversee compensation and benefits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Develop HR policies, maintain positive employee relations, handle disputes, and liaise with government authorities.
• Supervise daily HR operations, including task delegation and system approvals.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of HR management experience in medium to large manufacturing companies, preferably in machinery or metal processing industries.
• Well-versed in Malaysian labor laws and related regulations, with strong experience in government liaison.
• Proficient in at least two key HR functions: recruitment, training, compensation, performance management, or employee relations.
• Strong critical thinking, excellent communication and coordination skills, with adaptability and resilience under pressure.
• Skilled in building HR systems and teams from the ground up, with proven experience in setting up HR functions for new companies.
