We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join our rapidly growing company to manage various aspects of human resources management, including leading HR initiatives, recruitment, employee benefits, performance management, and daily HR operations. This role must ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all HR-related tasks, consistently delivering comprehensive services to support our business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment: Manage the recruitment and selection process, including conducting market research on salaries and relevant job portals, advertising job openings, sourcing resumes from appropriate channels and social media platforms, screening and selecting candidates, coordinating interview arrangements with hiring managers, conducting candidate reference checks, and preparing employment contracts.
  2. Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, managing staff movement updates with relevant documentation for internal (HR and IT) and external (statutory) channels, ensuring smooth hiring and exit procedures.
  3. Talent Management: Develop and implement employee benefits programs, engagement activities, training and development initiatives, performance management, and career development programs. Collaborate with department heads to understand workforce needs and drive HR initiatives.
  4. Performance Management: Oversee the entire Performance Management System cycle, ensuring effective management of performance evaluations through regular assessments and accurate feedback. Provide guidance on development plans and employee compensation and benefits packages.
  5. Employee Records: Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation. Analyze and generate management reports to support decision-making. Issue HR correspondence letters in compliance with policies and regulations.
  6. Policy Management and Strategic HR Planning: Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
  7. Statutory Compliance: Stay informed about changes in labor laws (e.g., Employment Act, Income Tax, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDC) and ensure compliance.
  8. Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, handle grievances, provide guidance on disciplinary actions, and foster a positive work environment.
  9. Office Administration: Monitor office inventory, coordinate with vendors for supplies and maintenance, implement cost control measures, track expenditures, and identify savings opportunities. Contribute to budget management and maintain a conducive work environment.
  10. Miscellaneous: Support daily HR operations, respond to employee inquiries, and perform ad hoc duties or projects as assigned by the Head of Department.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of HR experience, especially in recruitment and HR generalist roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations regarding contracts, compensation, and benefits.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
  • Own transportation and willingness to travel within HQ and branches.
