Job summary

BIG Pharmacy Healthcare Sdn Bhd in Klang, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior Executive/Executive, Health, Safety & Environmental to help ensure OSHA, EQA compliance and enforce internal HSE policies.

The role involves maintaining HSE documentation, conducting site inspections, organizing training, and assisting in incident investigations. Travel to Bukit Raja Klang may be required, and a 3–4 year background in HSE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in OSHE or related field.
• Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA/EQA/HSE standards is required.
• Green Book holder or pursuing certification is an added advantage.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring compliance with OSHA, EQA, and internal HSE policies.
• Maintain and update HSE documents, including inspection checklists, risk assessments, and audit records.
• Support regulatory reporting to authorities (DOSH, DOE, and others).
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and environmental risks.
• Track corrective actions and follow up on safety issues.
• Assist in incident and environmental investigations, including report writing and evidence gathering.
• Help plan and organize HSE training, inductions, drills, and awareness programs.
• Record meeting minutes and support HSE Committee activities.
• Help prepare posters, notices, and safety communication materials.
• To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety, Health and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the Management.
• Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by management.
