Act as the key liaison for People Systems team, partnering with business stakeholders, the People and Technology teams, and external vendors to ensure HR’s system requirements are understood and delivered to meet business needs.
Identify and gather business requirements, process workflow, design/recommend/prioritize solutions, and manage the external vendors on project initiatives per the Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Collaborate with the internal Workday technical team and change requestors to develop functional specifications, including reference guides, and manage the prioritization of Workday change requests (fixes or enhancements).
Responsible for communicating all changes or new processes to end-users and managers, supported by user guides and training sessions.
Manage escalation issues including but not limited to triaging Tier 2 issues, performing impact analysis for reported defects/issues, and determining the right solutions to be implemented internally or via the external vendors engaged for project initiatives.
Examine/review new Workday releases and enable useful features to be used company-wide.
Create new custom reports and maintain existing reports to ensure relevancy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Execute mass data upload (system configuration data) via EIB.
Act as security administrator to configure and maintain security within Workday application and tracked through MyAccess.
Provide guidance to junior members in the internal Workday technical team and be able to provide cover duties (e.g., scheduled jobs monitoring) if required.
The Must Haves:
You should have a degree in Computer Science preferably or Human Resource Management with intensive HRIS/HRIT working experience.
You have 5-8 years of in-house experience supporting HRMS solutions (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle) and have good working knowledge of Workday functionalities.
You should have a good understanding of HR work processes and employee data to support the People team (primary) effectively and provide good advice to other system integration teams within the Bank.
You are comfortable with system documentation on use cases with swimlane diagrams.
You understand SDLC and agile methodologies to execute without foregoing proper system documentation.
You operate independently and are proactive to get things done, not foregoing the internal system change control procedures.

Understand the IT service management framework in place for the Bank and its subsidiaries to support Workday.
Understand the importance of data or reporting governance for financial institutions.
Have a good overview of Workday security features and controls.
Are proficient in Workday HCM report writing, able to develop and maintain simple to complex Workday reports, including matrix and composite reports, utilizing Workday Report Writer and Report Designer.
