Your new company

This French group of companies, based in South-East Asia, is a leader in food manufacturing in the region. They are focusing on warehousing, cold storage, and transportation. The company plays a crucial role in the procurement and logistics of raw materials, ensuring efficient supply chain management and quality assurance. This allows them to maintain the quality and safety of the products they handle, which is essential for their clients in the food industry. The company is strategically positioned to support the logistics needs of its parent group, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of their supply chain.

Your new role

  • Lead and manage HR functions across all entities, ensuring consistent HR policies and practices.

  • Oversee all HR areas including recruitment, talent management, compensation, learning & development, and employee relations.

  • Act as the key liaison and negotiator for union matters, ensuring fair outcomes that support business and employee interests.

  • Advise senior management on strategic HR initiatives, workforce planning, and organizational development.

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies, manage HR audits, and report HR metrics to senior leadership.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Full spectrum HR experience, with a managerial role, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.

  • Proven experience in managing union relationships and leading collective agreement negotiations.

  • Strong understanding of Malaysian labour laws, HR compliance, and industrial relations practices.

  • Hands-on leadership balancing strategic planning and operational execution, with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
