An established industry player seeks a Senior HR Manager to lead their human resources strategies and practices. As a Senior HR Manager, you play a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s human resources strategies, policies, and practices. This position is responsible for overseeing HR operations, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and fostering a positive work culture that supports organizational goals and objectives. The Senior HR Manager collaborates closely with senior management and department heads to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's growth and sustainability objectives, reporting directly to the CEO.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To manage and compile monthly human resource report, payroll summary and submission to the Management on timely basis.
To manage and lead on Company’s and departments administrative works, such as asset management, insurance as well as information technology maintenance.
To manage HR Team for development and implementation of HR plans and solutions;
1. Recruitment and Selection:
Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring timely hiring of qualified candidates.
Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, conduct interviews, and make informed hiring decisions.
Implement effective onboarding programs for new hires.
To plan and manage recruitment advertisement and conduct interviews locally or overseas.
2. Policy Development and Compliance:
Design, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
3. Employee Compensation and Benefits:
Manage compensation structures, salary reviews, and bonus programs.
Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, leave policies, and retirement plans.
Monitor market trends to remain competitive in compensation practices.
4. Performance Management:
Develop performance appraisal systems and processes.
Set performance objectives, conduct evaluations, and provide constructive feedback.
Identify training and development needs for employees.
5. Employee Relations and Engagement:
Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns, conflicts, and morale issues.
Promote a healthy work environment and employee well-being.
Organize engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
6. Talent Development and Succession Planning:
Identify high-potential employees and create development plans.
Implement succession planning strategies to groom future leaders.
Facilitate learning and development programs.
7. Employer Branding and Diversity Initiatives:
Shape the organization’s employer brand through effective communication.
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workforce.
8. Change Management and Organizational Development:
Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR practices with business goals.
9. Metrics and Analytics:
Track HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, time-to-fill) and analyze trends.
Use data-driven insights to enhance HR processes.
To assist CEO in working with Department Heads (HODV/ HOD) and other key team members on organization design, workforce planning, succession planning, people assessment and development to meet our short- and long-term plan and within the company budget.
Analyses job market conditions and provide sound judgment and advice to Management on reward principles and recognition.
Ensure the SOP Performance Appraisal process is being used, organized, updated, recorded, and applied effectively.
To manage Company’s office equipment, stationery, and staff welfare.
To organize Security training/ briefing to ensure that all premises are controlled and monitor (CCTV) to control theft and vandalism.
To lead the yearly Training Needs Analysis (TNA) program, familiarization program and including the On Job Training (OTJ) program.
To advise and support Managers/ Head of Department on issues related with labour legislation, disciplinary, counselling and Collective Labour Agreement.
Perform ad-hoc tasks when required by the Management.
Requirements:
-Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Economics, Human Resource Management, Administration/Management or equivalent.
- In depth knowledge of Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, Foreign Worker Act.
-Excellent interpersonal skill, communication and presentation skill.- Self-driven energetic and have effective decision making ability.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- At least 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Willing to travelling.- Possess own transport.
- Willing to be relocated.
