We are currently hiring a Senior HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team in the Malaysian Branch. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to various engagements and internal initiatives that align with the Branch's overall objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and work with business leaders to drive employee engagement initiatives that align with the strategy to make the company a desirable place to work.
- Support the management team in communicating an engaging Employee Value Proposition. Maintain continuous communication and gather feedback from employees, providing guidance and recommendations for issue resolution.
- Collaborate with business heads to implement learning & development programs aligned with the organisation's strategy, values, and leadership fundamentals to foster a performance-driven culture. This includes conducting development needs analysis, creating tailored development plans, facilitating LEAD programs, promoting continuous learning, measuring program effectiveness, and integrating best practices to support talent development.
- Manage expatriate processes, including administrative paperwork, regulatory applications such as BNM and Immigration Work Permits, onboarding, logistics, and other arrangements. Serve as the subject matter expert to advise management and expatriates on these processes.
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including annual payroll activities. Administer employee benefits programs, assist with salary benchmarking, conduct compensation analysis, and manage the annual salary review and bonus cycle.
- Perform any additional HR-related tasks as required by the reporting manager.
You come equipped with:
- A Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in HR administration.
- Experience in employee claims and benefits management.
- Payroll experience is preferred.
- Prior experience with immigration and regulatory compliance is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis.
- Innovative problem-solving skills with sound judgment for data analysis.
- Strong numerical, analytical, conceptual thinking, and business acumen.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Customer-centric mindset with effective expectation management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
