About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior HR Executive / HR Executive to join our dynamic team at Wasco Greenergy Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam, Selangor. This full-time position will play a crucial role in driving the strategic human resource initiatives of our growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Head of HR in the full spectrum of Human Resource functions, including but not limited to payroll, recruitment, compensation & benefits, onboarding, offboarding, training, disciplinary matters, and staff welfare.

Support the Head of HR in conducting periodic salary surveys, job evaluations, and in recommending, planning, and implementing revisions to the pay structure.

Facilitate performance management by supporting managers in coaching and disciplining employees, including training them on effective appraisal techniques.

Address employee grievances and provide counseling support in accordance with Industrial Relations best practices.

Maintain and regularly update employee compensation and benefits records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Ensure adherence to staff disciplinary procedures in line with HR policies and the Industrial Relations Act 1967.

Manage and maintain comprehensive HR records and historical data using Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).

Ensure all HR reports and documents are updated, accurate, and filed in an organized manner.

Develop, review, and recommend updates to HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational goals and statutory requirements.

Oversee and monitor the performance of HR Executives/Officers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Assist in the proper documentation, monitoring, and follow-up of foreign workers' matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Ensure timely completion of all tasks and deliverables as per agreed timelines.

Perform any other duties or assignments as directed by Management.

What we're looking for

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a senior HR role, preferably in a consulting or generalist HR environment

Strong knowledge of HR best practices and the ability to apply them in a dynamic business setting

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills

Proficiency in HR information systems and data analysis

Demonstrated ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions to complex HR challenges

A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
