What does the role involve?
Elevate our HR function by driving strategic alignment and championing transformative people initiatives. Collaborate closely with an ambitious Head of HR to make an impactful difference to our organization.
- Strategic People Leadership : Translate high-level business strategies into impactful people initiatives. Drive alignment between HR and business goals to support organizational success.
- Talent Strategy Execution : Partner with Talent Acquisition to design and execute cutting-edge strategies for workforce planning, talent attraction, and hiring. Ensure we secure top talent and build a resilient workforce.
- Leadership Advisory : Facilitate talent discussions, performance calibrations, and succession planning with senior leaders. Ensure we are equipped with the right competencies now and in the future.
- Change Management & Engagement : Act as a catalyst for change, driving employee engagement and effective organizational development. Develop internal communications strategies that resonate and adapt messages for various audiences.
- HR Integration & Best Practices : Collaborate with HR Operations to implement core initiatives and share best practices. Deliver value-added solutions that enhance HR service delivery and effectiveness.
- Data-Driven Insights : Leverage HR analytics to provide actionable insights. Monitor key metrics and trends to drive continuous improvement and make informed decisions.
- Leadership Coaching : Provide strategic coaching to leaders on people-related issues, ensuring adherence to HR standards and processes. Foster a culture of excellence and compliance.
- Global HR Impact : Engage in global HR initiatives such as DEI, Total Rewards, and Skill Management. Contribute to the broader HR community and enhance competencies beyond your immediate responsibilities.
What you need is:
First and foremost, a passion for HR Business Partnering.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or a relevant field
- At least 10 years of experience of working as a HR Business Partner in a multinational company
- Sound knowledge of Malaysian employment law and legislation
- Proven experience in areas such as performance management, talent management and employee engagement
- Exceptional people skills and ability to network effectively with senior stakeholders
- Strong verbal (English) as well as non-verbal communication skills
- Confidence in working with data and HR systems (Workday is a plus)
