Job summary

CAHAYA JAUHAR SDN BHD seeks a senior governance professional to strengthen corporate governance, risk management, internal audit and compliance frameworks in a growing property sector business.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance or related discipline with 8+ years in governance roles, and possess strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia to lead cross-functional teams and drive regulatory compliance with integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Corporate Governance or any related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Corporate Governance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Compliance or related functions preferably within the property development industry.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, statutory requirements and anti-corruption regulations (e.g. MACC Guidelines)
• Experience in conducting risk assessments, compliance reviews and identifying governance gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Excellent communication, report writing and presentation skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong analytical, leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently and uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism
