About the role

UQPAY SDN. BHD. is seeking a talented Senior Golang Engineer to join our growing team. As a Senior Golang Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our cutting-edge financial technology solutions. This is a full-time position based in our modern office in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur.

What you'll be doing

As a core R&D team member, responsible for designing and developing high-concurrency, highly available global payment systems

Build scalable microservice architecture, ensuring system high availability and data consistency

Develop and optimize payment processing engines, implementing multi-currency, multi-channel payment routing and settlement

Design and implement anti-fraud systems to ensure transaction security

Integrate with global top payment institutions (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) to implement payment gateway solutions

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related fields

4+ years of Golang development experience, expert in Gin, gRPC, and other frameworks

Deep understanding of distributed system design principles and microservice architecture

Expert in MySQL cluster management, performance optimization, and database sharding

Proficient with message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ) and caching systems (Redis)

Experience in financial-grade system development, understanding of TPS and data consistency metrics

Familiar with payment card industry (PCI) data security standards preferred

Cross-border payment and acquiring system development experience preferred

Experience in FinTech or payment system development

Experience with crypto transaction signing, key management, and wallet integration

Experience in high-concurrency system design and optimization

Experience with message queues and event-driven architecture

Experience handling sensitive financial data

Understanding of payment security and anti-fraud technologies

Workshops are conducted in both English & Mandarin Chinese
