Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Penang, Malaysia is seeking an Engineer III, IT Infra to secure and optimize global enterprise connectivity across hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS and Azure). The Senior Network Firewall Engineer will own architecture, governance, and operations of network security platforms to support a 24x7 distributed business.

The role emphasizes standardization, scalable design, and centralized management using Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama, with responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent required.
• 8+ years enterprise network engineering with firewall focus.
• Deep hands-on Palo Alto firewall and Panorama experience at scale.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, segmentation, and traffic inspection.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and operate enterprise-scale firewall solutions across on-prem and multi-cloud (AWS/Azure).
• Lead global firewall strategy for hybrid connectivity and inter-region linking.
• Enforce network segmentation, zero trust, and least privilege at global scale.
• Design and manage Panorama for centralized policy management and standardization.
• Develop scalable GlobalProtect VPN architectures and certificate-based auth.
• Automate firewall provisioning and policy management via IaC and CI/CD.
• Provide Tier 3/4 operational support and drive incident response improvements.
