Job summary

Geotechnical Alliance in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee piling, soil improvement, geotechnical, and construction projects from start to finish. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery, and budget compliance while leading project teams, managing subcontractors, clients, consultants, and authorities.

The role requires 10–15 years of relevant experience and strong leadership and communication skills to drive successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 10–15 years of piling, geotechnical, foundation, soil improvement, or construction experience.
• At least 5 years in a Project Manager role managing medium to large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of piling, foundation systems, geotechnical engineering, and construction practices.
• Proven track record in project planning, cost control, contract management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage piling, geotechnical, foundation, and construction projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Plan and coordinate project resources, including manpower, equipment, subcontractors, and materials.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, cost performance, and project risks.
• Review drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies to ensure smooth project execution.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
• Manage contract administration, variation orders, claims, and project reporting.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, statutory regulations, and company policies.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise project teams to achieve project objectives.
