Job summary

ExxonMobil Malaysia invites applications for an experienced Gas Treating engineer to join the Kuala Lumpur Technology Center. Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will collaborate with global process engineering teams and manufacturing sites to optimize gas treating operations.

You will provide deep technical insights across gas treating units, drive improvements, mentor engineers, and lead initiatives from screening to commissioning with international travel ~10% of the time.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
10–15 years of work experience in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical or Refining Industry.
Minimum 10 years of work specialization on Gas Treating Units, Sulfur Recovery Plant, Amine, Sour Water System (SWS).

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to manufacturing sites to improve safety, reliability and margin capture.
Lead development and deployment of new technology to address business needs.
Support implementation of improvement projects at existing sites.
Participate in internal technical communities to share knowledge.
Influence cross-functional teams to drive improvements with minimal authority.
Mentor less experienced engineers and develop talent.
Demonstrate technical authority in Gas Treating discipline.
